“Glitch” (2022) is a South Korean series about a young woman who tries to track down her missing boyfriend with the help of a UFO-watching club.

Episode 1
Hong Ji-hyo, played by Jeon Yeo-been, lives with her father and stepmother. She tries her best to ignore the hallucinations of a strange creature in her quest to live a “normal” life.

But as societal and familial pressures increase, her visions become bolder. Her colleagues think she has the perfect life, but she doesn’t seem happy.

Her friend Oh Se-hee, played by Choi Soo-im, seems very attached to Ji-hyo. The affection Ji-hyo shows Se-hee, when coupled with the lack of interest in sex with Lee Si-kook, played by Lee Dong-hwi, suggests she may not be interested in a male partner.

Soon Ji-hyo gets signals through electronic devices stating that she is being watched, and she has flashbacks to when she was a child.

She nearly falls off of a building which brings Kim Byung-jo, a police officer played by Ryu Kyung-soo, into her life.

Ji-hyo goes to a psychiatrist named Ma Hyung-woo, played by Kim Nam-hee. He already knew of her seeing the alien creature before.
